    Forresters Beach sits on the eastern edge of the NSW Central Coast, just over an hour north of Sydney via the M1 — close enough for a long weekend, far enough to feel like a proper escape. It's the perfect base for exploring the coastal walks from Crackneck Lookout to Bouddi National Park, the restaurants and cafés of Terrigal and The Entrance, the surf breaks at Avoca and Wamberal, and the markets, live music and family events covered in our What's On guide.

    Honestly, there's no better way to start a weekend away than rolling out of bed, grabbing your thongs, and walking straight to the beach. No car. No fuss. Just 300 metres from the front door and your feet are in the sand. That's the thing about staying here — the beach isn't somewhere you drive to. It's just there.
